Students and faculty from communication, dentistry and justice administration will set up in teams to perform an array of service projects there.
The dental team will have a dental clinic in Peril. All ISLP students will perform a rotation in the clinic.
The communication team will use the STAR critical thinking exercise to help students make good choices. Justice administration will use role play and small group discussions to talk to students about bullying behavior. The education team will do a science experiment focusing on water purification.
The participants will leave the Philippines Dec. 20. This is the first time the program has to that country. Past programs have been held in Belize.
