Horses and Hope: A Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the Races

Approximately 1,200 breast cancer survivors and their guests will join Horses and Hope Founder Jane Beshear for a day of racing and celebration. Featured will be a performance by Linkin’ Bridge, Millionaires Row luncheon, handicapping tips by Jennie Rees and Horses and Hope gifts. Survivors also will be given the opportunity to add their personal mark to an original painting by Kathy Sullivan, the 2016 Kentucky Derby Festival Poster artist.

Horses and Hope is a project of former First Lady Jane Beshear and the Kentucky Cancer Program to increase cancer awareness, education, screening and treatment referral among Kentucky’s horse industry population and other groups.
