Diane Medley, newly named chair of the University of Louisville Foundation and treasurer pro tem of the board of trustees, was entered into the College of Business Entrepreneurship Circle of Fame in November 2016. Medley, a 1980 graduate of the College of Business, is managing partner and co-founder of MCM CPAs & Advisors. The granite monument that lists the names of the 13 people entered into the Entrepreneurship Circle of Fame is located in Jane Goldstein Plaza just outside Harry Frazier Hall at the college.

Would they learn and retain proper behavior in the classroom. The Kent School of Social Work has received a first-of-its-kind federal grant to find out.

UofL Campus Store ribbon cutting is 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30
Join UofL officials and Follett Higher Education Group for the grand opening of the UofL Campus Store. Officials will complete the ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. Monday Jan. 30 in the store, located in the SAC on the Floyd Street side. The grand opening will also feature an autograph signing by former UofL football player James Quick, from 1-3 p.m. The celebration continues throughout the week with a 20-percent discount on a single apparel or gift item, giveaways and more.

If the amount of protein in the human diet falls below 15 percent (more or less), we start craving it. So, on Meatless Monday, if you suddenly feel like having a lean chicken breast, your body may well be telling you it wants protein. A perfect solution would be a whole-wheat peanut butter sandwich or rice with beans. Both these dishes have complete protein.
